Born in Metković in 1975 and finished elementary school, elementary music school and general gymnasium in Ploče. Graduated in 1999 at the Faculty of Tourism and Foreign Trade of the University of Split - majoring in tourism. Since April 2000 has been employed at the Faculty of Tourism and Foreign Trade as a researcher, and as an assistant at the University of Dubrovnik, at the Department of Economics and Business Economics. In 2005 obtained master's degree at the Faculty of Tourism and Foreign Trade in Dubrovnik, at the post-graduate scientific study "Business Economics in Tourism", defending master's thesis entitled "The influence of fiscal policy on the development of tourist offer - the example of the tourist destination Dubrovnik". In December 2006 participated in the "Socrates-Erasmus teacher mobility 2006-2007" program at Katholieke Hogeschool Kempen, Department of Business Studies, in Geel, Belgium. From July 2 - 13, 2007, as a scholarship holder of the Central European University in Budapest, participated in a half-year education and a summer school on the topic "Intergovernmental Fiscal Relations and Local Financial Management". Received doctorate on October 16, 2014 at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Split, at the Postgraduate University Study "Economics and Business Economics", defending doctoral dissertation entitled “Fiscal decentralization in the function of achieving national development goals.”
