Juliana Memaj has concluded her studies at the University of Tirana, Faculty of Economics, Finance department in 2010 and Faculty of Law in 2000, continuing her postgraduate studies in the field of Business Administration. Mrs. Memaj has completed several prestigious specializations, within the country and abroad, focusing on local government and national legislation. She has been awarded the title of "State Attorney" and she has over 20 years of experience in the legal field. In 2015, she was elected as the mayor of Dimal Municipality but some of her most prestigious positions have been Advisor to the Minister of State for Relations with the Parliament as well as State Attorney for Foreign Ministry and Ministry of Finance matters, under the State Attorney's Office, Ministry of Justice. As a mayor she possesses a broad range of skills that encompass both interpersonal and professional abilities considering the well-being and interests of the municipality, development of the policies and programs to ensure the accountability and transparency and to maintain the financial integrity of the municipality.
