Dejan Šoškić, graduated in 1989, received his doctorate in 1999 at the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade. Employed at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Belgrade since 1992. Elected full professor in 2015. Main areas of interest and research: financial markets and institutions, monetary economics and economic development. Scholar of the Fulbright Program and the Tokyo Peace Foundation. During his undergraduate studies, he lectures on the subjects Financial Markets, Securities Analysis and Economic Statistics. He taught at undergraduate and master studies in the USA and Italy. He was a member of doctoral committees in the country and abroad (Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, Stockholm University, Sorbonne University in Paris). He was the governor of the National Bank of Serbia (2010-2012). He is a member of the presidency of the Association of Serbian Economists, a member of the presidency of the Scientific Society of Serbian Economists and a member of the Serbian Academy of Economic Sciences.
