Alban has been a lecturer of Economics since 2007. He has been the Managing Director of Riinvest College and the Director of Research at the Riinvest Institute. He has also worked for the Office of the Prime Minister of Kosovo as Chief Economist, where he has developed projects for the Millennium Challenge Corporation (2016-2020). In 2020, he was engaged as Chief of Staff of the Minister of Infrastructure and Environment. Alban has been continuously engaged in research, analysis, advocacy, and development projects in Kosovo. After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Prishtina (2001-2004), in 2006 he earned a Masters in Economics from Staffordshire University in the United Kingdom. In 2015, Alban earned a PhD in Economics from Politecnica Delle Marche, Italy. Alban is the author of many articles, mainly on socio-economic topics. Alban is the Deputy Mayor of Prishtina since December 2021.
